Just when the world is moving towards the Art Deco style in jewelry in the 1920s, the tomb of Tutankhamun was discovered in 1922. Later in the 60s, the film CLEOPATRA brought renewed interest in the style of Egyptian jewelry. When the towers of the tomb of Tutankhamun has become fashionable in the 1970s, once again, interest in jewelry-style Egypytian increased.
