Another of my favorite designers is vintage Albert Weiss.
Albert Weiss jewelry was popular from the 1940s to the 1970s. Most of the pieces that I have met are very nice, with marquise-cut, high quality Austrian crystal rhinestones.
Weiss rhinestone jewelry is similar to Eisenberg, but other parts of 50 years also rhinestone encrusted butterflies, fruits and flowers.
The play shows the picture above absolutely beautiful, and available for purchase in our RUBY LANE SHOP, really surprised me when I first saw it. I had no idea Weiss had 24 points like that “in the line of his neck. I was more familiar with her bracelets and necklaces, as the neck, often stone-marquise rhinestones surrounded by clear prong-set. The neck of the image, with its baroque imitation pearl and swinging in style reminds me more of Miriam Haskell.
