WHITING & DAVIS: MODERN VINTAGE
Today I want to introduce you to one of my favorite vintage designers, WHITING & DAVIS.

The first piece of Whiting & Davis, I’ve never bought a watch on the left. When he arrived, I was blown. I could not believe this year may look good and can be so “today”!

My daughter in her mid-20’s. She giggled a little when I think of jewelry, then she saw the room. Like me, she was blown away by his supervisor of construction, new and fashionable look.

This classic example of Whiting & Davis has two fabulously 28 – 30 inches from the string that hangs a beautiful pendant. The pendant is bezel-style filigree, measuring 1 3 / 4 “long and has a magnificent piece of smoky quartz clear. The stone itself is 1 inch long and about 3 / 4″ wide.

Whiting & Davis was famous for using only the finest metals and there is no gold or silver, these metals really take the beating and not show it. This necklace bears the mark of new and even more likely that it dates back to the 50. It comes with the Whiting & Davis hung dangling near the clasp tag.

This is just one of many excellent Whiting & Davis necklaces I have. I also have some of their bracelets clamping, a reversal of cameo glass that you can see here, and even an old, very vintage locket that opens to a small house in the photo. I will add them to this blog in time to recover and see the future.

By the way, it tickled my fancy this when my daughter asked to bring one of my necklaces Whiting & Davis with his black turtleneck sweater about a month back. It looked wonderful. She certainly had a load of people asking where she bought it!
